Terms, privacy and refunds

Terms of use

• What it isCozy Cat is desktop software, made by one developer in South Korea, with a virtual 3D cat. Nothing physical is shipped.
• Foster, then adoptEvery feature is free for 3 days after installing. After that the cat stays saved and waits; adopting is a one-time payment of ₩4,900, which includes the 33 basic furnishings. Other items come from GP earned in the app, and some from G, an optional in-app balance topped up in packs (₩5,000–₩50,000). No subscription, ads or random draws.
• LicenceOne adoption (licence key) activates on up to 3 computers. Your cat and account live on one computer at a time; moving to another computer releases the previous one. Activation and the occasional licence check need the internet. Sharing or reselling keys and redistributing the app are not allowed.
• UpdatesThe app downloads new versions itself and installs them when you step away or quit, after backing up your cat. New cats, decorations and features come this way at no extra cost. Features beyond those shown today are not promised.
• Requirements64-bit Windows 10/11, or macOS 13+ on Apple silicon (Intel Macs are not supported yet). Some features (watching videos together, quiet during calls, hiding for full-screen apps, the file snack and the Recycle Bin hiding place, watching the screen together) work on Windows only for now. The optional AI model downloads only if you agree when asked.
• PricesPrices are shown in Korean won; taxes and currency conversion may apply, and the final amount is shown at checkout. Minors should buy with a parent’s or guardian’s consent where required.

Privacy

• This websiteNo advertising trackers or analytics scripts. The host (Cloudflare) processes the usual connection data (IP address, time, browser) to serve and protect the site. Installer downloads come from GitHub’s public releases.
• On your computerYour cat’s name, growth, settings, layout and play data are saved on your computer. The local AI features run on your computer. Optional features (microphone, screen recognition, window and browser features) are switched on in the app’s settings and processed locally.
• Your accountTo carry your cat between computers, the site’s server keeps: your email address, a password hash (never the password) or Google account identifier, your cat’s save, your G balance and history, licence keys, the name and public key of the one connected computer, and the last access time. Password-reset emails are sent through Resend.
• PaymentsLemon Squeezy and its payment processors handle payments; this site never sees card numbers. To finish an in-app purchase on its own, the server briefly keeps hashes of the key and a random code and deletes them once the app has the key (or after 7 days).
• Your rightsAsk to see, correct or delete your data at bbbofficial95@gmail.com. Deleting your account removes it, the server copy of your cat and its device information; transaction records the law requires us to keep may be retained.

Refunds

• AdoptionBecause all features can be tried free for 3 days and this is shown before paying, adoption is final once paid (Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Art. 17(2)5).
• G top-upsA top-up can be withdrawn within 7 days of payment only if none of its G has been used. Every pack includes bonus G, which counts as used first; withdrawing takes back that pack’s G.
• If something is wrongIf the app won’t install or run, or the key or G doesn’t arrive, you can ask for a refund within 3 months of delivery, or within 30 days of finding out. Send your order number and purchase email to bbbofficial95@gmail.com. Duplicate charges are refunded as soon as they’re confirmed.
• After a refundThe refunded licence is cancelled. Your cat’s save stays on your computer, waiting to be adopted.
• Payment providerLemon Squeezy may also handle refunds and disputes under its own policy. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.
